Initiator and co-founder of "Pro Integra" (prointegra.ch) Professional Center for Migration and Albanian-Swiss competence.
He is also active in socio-political life: Holder of political mandates: Cantonal MP (2006 - 2009/2015 - 2017) and assembly member in the city of Schaffhausen (2013 - 2015). He is the co-initiator and co-founder of the structure of the Swiss Social Democratic migrants (2011). Since 2017, he has been elected the second representative of the Social Democrat migrants in the executive directorate of the Swiss Social Democratic Party.
Since 2010 he has worked as the union secretary for migration in the Unia, responsible for the members of Southeast Europe (Western Balkans).
Previously, he worked as the director of open youth work, at OJA Zurich Affoltern. From 1995 to 2005 he worked as a project collaborator in the Psycho-Social Service of the Asylum Organization for the Canton of Zurich. During this time, in addition to his professional activity, he studied and graduated as a socio-cultural animator at HFSKA Zurich. Before completing his psycho-social training, he successfully completed a postgraduate course in neuro-linguistic programming NLP (Neurolinguistische Programieren), after which he became a trainer in the psychological processing of traumatic events.
He has frequently referred to the topic of integration and migration, inter- and trans-cultural exchange, and has lectured on country-specific data and characteristics.
Among other things, he has worked on a number of development and cooperation projects in Southeast Europe, which were related to community work and trauma treatment. As a transnational person, he continues to be intensively committed to participation and the development of cooperation between the respective countries and societies.
