Halit Avdijaj was born and raised in Istog, Kosovo. During the war he moved to Switzerland where he lived and worked for a short period of time. After the end of the war, Mr. Avdijaj returned to his homeland, where in 2002 he decided to establish his own business for the collection and cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants AgroProduct.
Eighteen years later, this business has managed to be the company with the largest exports in Kosovo, and is a leader in the Balkans for the production of organic products certified with the Organic Standard of the European Union.
At the same time, Mr. Avdijaj is the president of the association "Organika" at the national level.
