Ermelinda Kanushi is an International Relations expert with a focus on the European Union. Currently, she works as a Lecturer at the University College of Freiburg and the University of Hildesheim in Germany, where she teaches on subjects such as “Global Challenges”, “International Institutions”, “ European Union: History, Institutions and Politics “, “ Introduction to International Relations” etc.
She has completed her academic studies at the University of Istanbul, Turkey, and then pursued her specialization in European Studies at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. During her career, she has been a member and worked in different non-governmental organizations in Sweden, Turkey, and Germany. She has been a consultant to several international projects and has participated in various seminars, training, and conferences in the field of international relations.
Ermelinda was an active member of the ‘ Albanian Students Abroad Network, while previously being the first elected Chairwomen of the ‘Albanian Youth Parliament’.
She is a polyglot that speaks fluently or well around 6 languages.
