Ermal Vejsa was born in Gjakova, Kosovo. He studied sociology at the Faculty of Philology - University of Prishtina. Mr. Vejsa has been an activist since his youth, co-founder of the non-governmental organization “DERI KUR!’ And organizer of various cultural activities in Kosovo. Since 2012 he lives and works in Austria, where he continues to contribute to the development of the cultural, artistic and sports sector of the Albanian community in Austria. In 2015 he founded the non-governmental organization ‘K’ with a focus on sports and cultural activities. In 2016 he became part of the presidency of the Coordination Council of Albanian Associations in Austria. In the period 2017-2019 he was the chairman of this Coordination Council, organizing the "Albanian Culture Weeks in Austria", a project which showed success in raising the level of cultural activities by establishing cooperation with many Albanian associations in Austria and at the same time with many renowned artists who live and work in Austria and beyond.
Mr. Vejsa continues to contribute to the presentation of our artistic, cultural and sports traditions and values.
