Mr. Elvin Guri is an entrepreneur and investor. Currently CEO of Empower Capital Advisors, manager of Empower Capital Fund I, Bulgarian private equity fund investing in small and medium-sized industrial companies. Previously with PwC and EBRD, in 2001-2002 he co-founded JetFinance International, which became the largest consumer finance lender in South East Europe (sold to BNP Paribas Personal Finance in 2007). Among his other recent investments is ONE Telecommunications (formerly Telekom Albania), the second largest mobile operator in that country. Mr. Guri has an MBA from the University of Oxford Said Business School. He also supports various educational institutions and initiatives in Bulgaria and Albania, the most important of which are providing scholarships for Albanian students at the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG) and the American University in Kosova (AUK/RIT).
