Dardan Hajrizi was born in New York in 1992 and alongside his two brothers had varied educational experiences during his time as a student. Due to the nature of his father’s work, Dardan and his family had to move around often from New Jersey to Virginia to Kosova. It was because of this constant shift of locations that Dardan was exposed to different systems of education and styles of teaching.
Dardan attended and graduated from the RIT Kosovo (American University in Kosovo) in 2014 where he was given the opportunity to tutor students who struggled with the English language. It was during this time that Dardan developed a passion for teaching and understood that his efforts could make a difference. In 2018, Dardan joined the efforts to launch Teach For Kosova as a Co-Founder alongside Egzon Gashi and Antigona Uka and is currently the organization's manager of operations and marketing.
