Dr. Mentor Bilali is originally from Breznica, Bujanovac municipality, but his family has moved to Gjilan for years. At the age of 4 he had migrated to Switzerland. He completed his primary education in Reiden, Canton of Lucerne. He finished high school in Sursee, in the same canton.
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine after 6 years of studies in 2008 at the University of Basel.
He completed his first specialization in internal medicine at the University Clinic in Aarau (AG). He completed his second specialization in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University Clinic of Zurich, in the fall of 2018. In the same hospital he is also working as a chief physician (Oberarzt).
From 01.01.21 he was elected head of the clinic of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Oberaargau Hospital in Langenthal and the Gastroenterologie Oberaargau office in Langenthal, Bern.
